Commitment

This site was designed to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. We want anyone to be able to discover the work of Felipe Linares Mendoza and the Linares family, however they browse.

What we have done

  • All navigation works with a keyboard and interactive elements show a visible focus.
  • Every artwork photograph has alternative text describing the piece.
  • Text keeps sufficient color contrast on both light and dark backgrounds.
  • Font sizes adapt to the screen and content can be enlarged up to 200% without loss of information.
  • Touch targets for buttons and links measure at least 44 pixels.
  • Animations are disabled when the system indicates a preference for reduced motion.
  • The image viewer can be closed with the Escape key and browsed with the arrow keys.
  • The archive and catalog filters work with a keyboard and announce the number of results.
  • The site plays no audio or video automatically and uses no pop-ups.
