Pedro Linares and Manuel Jiménez meet in Los Angeles

During a working trip to the United States, the Oaxacan carver Manuel Jiménez met Pedro Linares. It is the episode both the Linares and the Jiménez families cite when explaining how the name “alebrije” reached Oaxaca’s wood carvings.
